Did you know that 1 in 8 households in the United States are currently facing food insecurity? That means that many families in our community do not have sufficient access to quality food and other basic needs. At Weed Man, we’re proud to be locally owned and operated right here in Madison, and we strive to make a difference for people in need – right in our own backyard! That’s why we want to invite our customers to participate in our 2024 fall food drive: Grassroots Giving! Throughout the fall season, we’re partnering with two local organizations: Second Harvest Food Bank &ECHO of Janesville. Starting September 25, 2024, we’re partnering with ECHO of Janesville to collect donations of the following items: Shelf-stable, non-perishable food and household items School supplies Diapers Donating is easy! The day before your next lawn care application during our Grassroots Giving campaign, you will receive a text or email reminder about your next service. During our visit, simply leave any food items for donation outside your front door (preferably in a box or bag). Your Weed Man technician will collect all items while they are there to complete your service. All donations will benefit our friends at Second Harvest Food Bank & ECHO of Janesville! We hope you’ll join us in the fight against food insecurity in our community!
